‘Bachelorette’ alum Tayshia Adams shares her NYC Marathon running essentials

Tayshia Adams traded roses for racing shoes.

The former “Bachelorette” recently crossed the finish line at the 2026 New York City Marathon, marking her fourth time running the iconic race.

The reality star was all smiles as she greeted fans along the course, wearing a hot pink Maybelline T-shirt (she ran on behalf of the brand) and toting a mini belt bag.

As for what she kept in tow during the 26.2 miles? Below, she shares six essentials that helped her go the distance — and recover afterwards.

Feetures Running Socks
Feetures

“I cannot say enough good things about Feetures socks! I’ve been wearing them for about three years now, and I swear I’ve convinced half the people in my life to try them. They have different levels of cushioning and sock heights, so you can really find what works for you. They’re supportive, stay exactly where they’re supposed to, and I never have to think about them while I’m running — which, honestly, is exactly what you want in a good running sock. Each training season, I look forward to replenishing my sock drawer with new pairs. They’re that good!”

Spiky Massage Ball

“This little thing is my secret weapon, and I am not exaggerating when I say I have five of them scattered around my house. People underestimate how much tension we carry in our feet, and how much that can affect how the rest of our legs feel. Whether I’ve just finished a long run or spent the day running around in heels for work, I always roll out the bottoms of my feet before bed to work through any tight spots. It’s one of those tiny habits that’s made such a difference in how my feet feel, both with running and in everyday life. I even pack one when I travel. I’m never leaving home without it.”

Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Patches
Amazon

“After training for four NYC marathons, I’ve learned that taking care of my body is just as important as putting in the miles. I think one thing we can all relate to is the everyday wear and tear that comes with just living life. Whether it’s a long run, a busy work day or traveling, minor aches and pains happen. I love having Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Patches on hand for targeted, temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain. What I especially love is that they’re clear and discreet, so I can put one on and go about my day without thinking twice about it. They stay on for up to 12 hours, which is amazing when you’re constantly on the go. It’s one of those little essentials I love having in my bag because you never know when you might need it!”

No7 Prime Forever SPF 50 Primer
Amazon

“I am obsessed with this product! It’s honestly one of my new favorite skin care discoveries. It leaves my skin looking so glowy, hydrated and supple, but somehow feels like I have absolutely nothing on my face. I have pretty sensitive skin, so finding something that feels this good on my skin — [and] that’s something you can work out in — is a big deal. I love that it has SPF 50, especially with how much time I spend running outside. And the fact that it doubles as a makeup primer is genius. I can wear it on its own for a run and still feel like my skin looks gorgeous, or layer my makeup over it for a full day of work. It’s one of those products that just makes getting ready so much easier. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about it. This is a must.”

Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 Bone Conduction Bluetooth Sport Headphones
Amazon

“I love these for training! There’s nothing better than getting lost in a good playlist and going on a long run. But living and running in New York City, it’s also important to be aware of what’s happening around me, and that’s what really stood out to me with these headphones. I can enjoy my music without completely tuning out what’s happening around me. They’re incredibly lightweight, have great battery life and are so comfortable that I genuinely forget I’m wearing them. Plus, I can wear them with my sunglasses and running hat without feeling like I have a million things on my head. And they come in cute colors.”

SiS Energy Gels
Amazon

“Marathon training has taught me a lot of things, but one of the biggest lessons was finding fuel that agrees with your stomach … it’s a whole journey in itself! This was my first year using SiS gels, and they’ve been such a great find. My stomach can be pretty sensitive when it comes to fueling mid-run, but these have worked really well for me and helped me maintain my energy during those longer miles. Raspberry lemon-lime electrolyte is the flavor I’ve been buying most. My biggest tip: Find what works for your body ahead of time, and never try something new on race day.”
