The Saturday Night Live star even signed on to be an executive producer of a rebooted version of the program, which starred newcomers Nathan Janak, Kate Godfrey and Lex Lumpkin for one season, ending in 2020.

When Nickelodeon president Brian Robbins pitched the idea, Thompson called it a “no-brainer” to rejoin, adding, “Every time he does that, he has been right on the money. He has done it infinite times in my life.”
