Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli unlikely to reconcile after ‘betrayal’: report

Lori Loughlin reportedly feels “betrayed” by her estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, after a friend of the actress previously claimed to Page Six that Loughlin found “incriminating texts and emails” on his phone.

“It’s not a happy situation for her,” a source told People Tuesday, adding, “They’re in very different places right now and it’s unlikely that they’ll find their way back together.”

The source noted that Lori — who separated from Giannulli earlier this month after 28 years of marriage — “feels betrayed.”

Loughlin and Giannullli’s relationship’s changed following their involvement in the highly publicized college admissions scandal back in 2019, according to the source, who said that it “put a strain in their marriage.”

Both Loughlin and Giannulli served prison time after getting caught up in the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal.

Both admitted to paying $500,000 to a fixer to help their daughters — Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella, 27 —  gain admission to the University of Southern California by falsely portraying them as rowing recruits.

“Things have never been the same,” the source said.

Loughlin’s rep didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment. Giannulli told People he has “zero comments.”

A friend of the actress, 61, recently alleged to Page Six that Loughlin dumped the fashion designer, 62.

“Truly, the tipping point came when Lori found a bunch of text messages,” the friend claimed.

“Mossimo had used Lori for years,” the friend also claimed. “She was hoping maybe he would change when he got out of prison, but he got worse.”

The actress’ rep previously told us Loughlin and Giannulli were living apart, though there were no legal proceedings underway at the time.

She was spotted after the split at her home in Los Angeles, appearing to be in good spirits as she ditched her wedding ring.

Loughlin’s “Full House” co-star John Stamos recently defended the mother of two, calling her a “saint.”

“I really tried to be there for her during [the divorce] and also with the college scandal. I’m not going to debate whether she had much to do with it or not. I know she didn’t,” Stamos claimed on the “Good Guys” podcast Monday.

“She goes to f–king prison for this asshole for three months,” he added.
