Last Wednesday, she paired the ivory version with a silk bra, cutout skirt and leather trench for a screening of “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” at NYC’s Metrograph.
And a matter of days later, she styled the black version of the top with matching leather pants for a conversation with Hugh Jackman at the 92nd Street Y about their new movie, “Song Sung Blue.”
The breathable cotton-and-modal design features a touch of cashmere for added softness (and luxury).
Hudson’s hardly the only star with a soft spot for it, give we’ve spotted the style on everyone from Kelsea Ballerini to Mila Kunis to Kendall Jenner — the latter of whom even wore it as part of her Marilyn Monroe Halloween costume.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez gives Hudson a run for her money with her extensive collection; she owns the turtleneck in at least five colors.
The lingerie brand’s Ultralight collection is no stranger to the spotlight, as its similarly buttery Boat Neck Model Cashmere Top went viral in 2023 after Kendall Jenner wore it on a podcast. (Having tried it myself, I can attest it’s just as soft as advertised —and truly featherweight, making it a great layering piece.)
Hailey Bieber, Addison Rae and Jasmine Tookes have also worn the closet staple over the years.
In addition to its impressive list of organic fans, the Italian label also regularly drops headline-making advertisements with the likes of Emily Ratajkowski and Heidi and Leni Klum.
After this week’s string of looks, perhaps Hudson should be Intimissimi’s next A-list model.
