Jennifer Aniston Honors Matthew Perry One Year After His Death

Meanwhile, Perry’s mom Suzanne Morrison said she’s “thrilled” that charges have been made in the case. (Dr. Salvador Plasencia, who provided the drugs to Perry, and Jasveen Sangha, the alleged drug dealer dubbed the “ketamine queen,” each pleaded not guilty to charges including conspiracy to distribute ketamine, NBC News reported. Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa and friend Erik Fleming, meanwhile, pleaded guilty to ketamine-related charges and await sentencing.)

The Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip alum’s family spoke out in rare interviews as the anniversary of Perry’s tragic death approached.

Suzanne recalled one of her final conversations with her son, saying there was “an inevitability” in the way he spoke that concerned her at the time.

“He said, ‘I’m not frightened anymore,’” she recalled. “And it worried me.”

The 17 Again actor’s half-sister Caitlin Morrison also recently opened up about his death and how she chooses to remember him.

“He had this ability to fill up a room with light,” the 43-year-old told Hello magazine in a story published Oct. 23. “When people were in a room with him, he had this magnetic energy. Everybody just had a smile on their face and they clung to everything he said.”
