Irina Shayk revealed that she and Bradley Cooper limit their daughter Lea De Seine’s internet access to protect her from their fame.
The 8-year-old “clearly understands” Shayk and the “American Sniper” star’s respective careers and their top priority is ensuring she “feel[s] comfortable,” the model told People in an interview published Monday.
“She has very, very little digital access, almost down to none,” she shared, explaining that she wants Lea to focus on “building community, friends and just giving love.”
“This is the best thing that you could give to your kid, raising them in a loving family,” Shayk, 39, added.
Elsewhere in the interview, the actress revealed that she teaches Lea self-love in a world where “there are so many beauty standards” that she tries to “protect” her from.
Shayk and Cooper, 50, started dating in 2015 and welcomed their daughter in March 2017.
The exes parted ways in 2019 but have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship throughout the years.
The Victoria’s Secret model and the “A Star is Born” actor have notably gone on family vacations and celebrated Halloween together.
Cooper, however, rarely speaks about parenting his daughter, and last shared in 2023 that he hopes to learn from his father’s mistakes and “unburden her with any of [his] bulls–t.”
Lea has already followed in the footsteps of her famous father by making her acting debut in his 2023 film “Maestro.”
In the film, she plays the young child of composer Leonard Bernstein, portrayed by Cooper.
When the movie was released, Lea made her red carpet debut alongside the “Silver Linings Playbook” star at the Los Angeles premiere.
At the time, she beamed ear-to-ear while holding hands with Cooper.
Cooper, meanwhile, has been dating model Gigi Hadid since 2023.
That same year, Shayk started her on-again, off-again romance with NFL alum Tom Brady.
