Collin Gosselin is accusing his mom, Kate, of “scarring” abuse, just days after his dad, Jon, got remarried.
Collin recalled his mother’s allegedly abusive behavior toward him in a lengthy statement shared to his Instagram Stories Wednesday.
“I remember when my mom would send my siblings off to school every day and then put her hands on me and drive scarring words into my head,” he wrote.
“I remember how I had to pretend like everything was fine once my siblings returned home,” he continued.
Collin, 21, took note of the “growing epidemic of child abuse” and “child exploitation” sweeping the nation.
“I will use my voice and experiences to address that epidemic. Keep coming for me, I will keep advocating,” he said.
Collin shared that his family’s reality show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” portrayed a false representation of their true family dynamics.
“Late nights like this I often think about how so many people are still upset that a show they watched for years portrayed a false narrative, while hiding so many dark secrets,” he said.
“Many people on social media have come to say some very horrible things about me, and I have one message for them,” he continued, adding, “No matter how many hurtful things you say to me, I will never stop advocating for scapegoated and abused children. NEVER. EVER.”
Jon and Kate and their eight children — 25-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 21-year-old sextuplets Collin, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Leah and Joel — starred in the TLC series for five seasons from 2007 to 2009.
Jon and Kate divorced in 2009 after more than 10 years of marriage. Their family drama continued to play out on camera in the spinoff, “Kate Plus 8,” for six seasons from 2010 to 2017.
Last year, Collin accused his estranged mother of child abuse — alleging that she had zip-tied his hands and feet and locked him in the basement. Kate has denied the accusations. However, Kate’s lawyer Richard Puleo said in a statement to The US Sun that he doesn’t believe Kate has done anything to “intentionally harm” Collin.
“There’s always two sides to every story and when things take place in the past, it’s hard to determine because people have differing recollections and perspectives,” the lawyer said in part. “I think she did whatever she did to protect herself and her family from some of his troubled behavior as a child.”
The attorney added, “However I think if Kate did the things that Collin is accusing Kate of, she would have been investigated by the authorities and prosecuted.”
Since falling out with his mom, Collin has been living with his dad and even attending Jon’s wedding to Stephanie Lebo this weekend. Collin and his sister Hannah were the only siblings to attend the nuptials.
Meanwhile, Madelyn, Cara, Aaden, Alexis, Leah and Joel remain close with Kate.
Kate’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
