Olivia Wilde is looking back on her time with ex Harry Styles as it was.
A little more than three years after their breakup, the Don’t Worry Darling director shared insight into her relationship with the One Direction alum, noting that people were “f–king pissed” once they started dating.
“It really did upset people,” Olivia said during the June 17 episode of Call Her Daddy, in reference to their age gap. (At the time they started dating, Harry was 26 and Olivia is 10 years his senior). “It was crazy, I don’t know how much I understand it yet. That’s one of the factors that I never really felt I like fully…I don’t know, people were f–king pissed.”
Olivia—who shares kids Otis and Daisy with ex Jason Sudeikis—also noted the public response may have also had to do with a “parasocial relationship” some may have with the singer.
“It’s wild ‘cause we had the loveliest relationship,” she shared. “Like so, so sweet and so beautiful and like really, actually very domestic and kind and lovely.”
