Sharna Burgess Reveals Fiancé Brian Austin Green’s 5 Kids Were All “Unplanned”
Brian Austin Green sure knows the power of a name.
After all, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum’s middle name isn’t actually Austin, but rather was simply a random moniker he adopted to differentiate himself from another actor after joining the Screen Actors Guild in the ‘80s.
“My mom had a whole name planned for me when she was pregnant and I had really broad shoulders as a baby, so she had a real hard time in labor,” Brian explained on the March 16 episode of the Pod Meets World podcast. “And my dad—who smoked a lot of pot at this point in life—while my mom was in the middle of labor, he came forward, and he was like, ‘Can we name him Brian?’”
Joking that his mom’s reaction was, “Name him, whatever the f— you want. Just get him out of me,” the 52-year-old continued, “That was literally the only name he came up with. He came up with no middle name, no anything. So, it was just Brian Green.”
