Despite Cher’s eyebrow-raising opinion about Dax and Kristen’s 12-year marriage, the “Believe” singer admitted during their podcast episode that she’s happy to see her longtime friend in a good place.
“The truth is, I trust her,” Cher said during her Armchair Expert podcast appearance. “So, you must have something that I don’t see.”
The 79-year-old—mom to sons Chaz Bono, 56, with ex-husband Sonny Bono, and Elijah Allman, 49, with ex-husband Gegg Allman—added, “And you seem like a good dad.”
Meanwhile, Dax and Kristen—who share daughters Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11—were sure to share some of the podcast host’s best qualities. As he put it, “I’m not threatened by her shining. I love it. The shinier she gets, the better.”
And the Veronica Mars alum couldn’t agree more.
