The Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy champions were announced at the end of Tuesday night’s three-hour finale, following three intense rounds that featured a “Judges’ Choice” dance, an “Instant Dance” and the signature “Freestyle” performances.

Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy were the runner-ups, while Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa placed third. Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach came in fourth, with Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten coming in fifth.

“My sister [Bindi Irwin] said it best, ‘Thank you for changing my life,’” the wildlife conservationist said after his win, referencing his sister’s Season 21 victory with Derek Hough.

“I’m so grateful for Robert, honestly,” Carson added. “I feel like I already won with him as my friend and I can’t thank you enough.”

Co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that the “gap” between the first and second-place finishers was the “tightest” they had “ever seen” in “DWTS” history following a record-breaking season and epic finale.

“Robert, I brought that mirrorball home 10 years ago. It’s your turn,” Bindi said in a pre-taped package that aired just moments before her brother was announced as the winner. “You’ve got this!”

Ahead of the finale, Carson revealed Monday night that she had to make some last-minute changes to her choreography due to Irwin battling some pain in rehearsals.

“Robert’s ribs have been killing him … I do have to change some things that involve the other dancers and involve the other guys,” she told fans via TikTok, referencing their freestyle routine.

“It’s just honestly the most stressful part, because this is just getting it all together and it’s going to take some time.”

“We’re going to have absolutely no regrets by the end of this,” she added. “I really do feel like I’ve already won in this experience with Robert.”

During Tuesday’s three-hour finale, the Season 34 finalists had to compete in three intense rounds in a last-minute battle for the win. Disney
Each dance duo participated in a “Judges’ Choice” dance, an “Instant Dance” and the signature “Freestyle” performances, which wowed the judges and audiences at home. Disney

Irwin wasn’t the only one who danced through injuries this season, however. Hendrix missed “Halloween Night” last month after injuring her ribs during her “Defying Gravity” performance one week prior.

The actress previously revealed to Page Six that she had been dealing with pain in the weeks leading up to her “Wicked Night” routine.

Meanwhile, Earle gave fans a peek at some of her brutal injuries in her weekly social media posts featuring behind-the-scenes clips from rehearsals, her journey on “DWTS” and more.

In addition to the reveal of the new mirrorball champs, Tuesday’s three-hour Season 34 finale featured the return of previously eliminated contestants, including Corey Feldman, Hilaria Baldwin, Whitney Leavitt, Jen Affleck, Andy Richter and Danielle Fishel.

They all performed together — one last time — for the show’s opening number, set to “Never Can Say Goodbye” by The Communards and choreographed by Joey Pizzi.

The evening also included a special announcement about the upcoming “DWTS: Live!” tour, which kicks off in January 2026. Hendrix, Fishel and Richter will be joining pro dancer Emma Slater as co-host on various stops, with Earle, Efron, Chiles, Irwin and Carson as featured special guests on select dates.
