Meghan Markle is unbothered as ever.
After the Duchess of Sussex donned a one-shoulder green gown originally worn in a 2022 Variety photo shoot in her upcoming holiday episode of With Love, Meghan, comments made by a journalist on a 2024 podcast accusing her of not returning garments from a past photography session resurfaced.
However, Meghan’s rep firmly shut down speculation surrounding the $1,695 Galvan “Ushuaia” dress and how she came to possess it.
“The insinuation that any items were taken without the full knowledge and agreement of the on-set stylists or their respective teams is not only categorically false, but also highly defamatory,” a spokesperson for Meghan told E! News in a statement. “Any items kept were done so in total transparency and in accordance with contractual arrangements.”
The Suits alum—who shares kids Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, with husband Prince Harry—has long spoken about how she’s tried to be intentional when it comes to her designer digs, especially when she was an active member of the royal family.
