Jon Bon Jovi is over the moon that his son Jake Bongiovi and daughter-in-law Millie Bobby Brown welcomed a baby girl together.
“It’s crazy, but great. Wonderful,” the music icon told Bunnie XO about becoming a first-time grandpa during an interview posted on TikTok Sunday.
“They adopted a girl, we met the baby obviously and immediately that becomes your grandchild, you know what I mean?” he continued. “Your baby.”
The “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer, 63, admitted he’s always asking Bongiovi, 23, and Brown, 21, for constant updates.
“It’s beautiful. I want to see pictures, like, every other day,” he shared. “I’m that pain in the butt guy already and, yeah, it’s cool.”
He also explained why he gave his blessing for Bongiovi and the “Stranger Things” actress to marry young.
“We blessed it because we get it, you know?” he shared. “They’re sorta mature beyond their years. She comes from a family where her parents are still together and they married very young.”
“Her and Jake fell in love and we just thought, ‘OK, we’ll support this,’” he recalled. “And it’s working out.”
Bongiovi and Brown got married in a “low-key” ceremony in May 2024 and held a second, more extravagant celebration in Italy five months later.
The “Enola Holmes” star marked her first anniversary with Bongiovi on Sunday with a never-before-seen photo of their wedding.
“1 year married 🤍,” she captioned a stunning black-and-white photo of her hugging her husband on their wedding day. “I love being your wife.”
The couple shocked fans last month when they announced they had adopted a baby girl.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they wrote via a joint statement. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
While some fans criticized Brown for choosing to marry and have a baby young — calling her a “tradwife” — an insider told the Post that she couldn’t care less.
“She’s too confident to mess with,” the insider said. “She doesn’t give a crap. Why should she?”
