Jason Kelce got into a confrontation with a man who insulted his brother Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift using particularly offensive language.
As the ESPN NFL analyst was walking near Beaver Stadium at Penn State University Park Nov. 2 ahead of the Nittany Lions football team’s game against Ohio State, a man nearby started heckling him.
“Kelce,” he called out, “how does it feel that your brother is a [homophobic slur] for dating Taylor Swift?”
Jason then turned around and appeared to take a person’s phone and smash it to the ground, then pick it up and walk away, according to multiple reports and videos shared on X.
It was not immediately clear if the man whose phone was smashed was the same man who shouted the slur, NBC News noted.
E! News has reached out to reps for Jason and ESPN for comment on the incident and has not heard back.
The 36-year-old, who was in town to appear on ESPN’s College GameDay, has long been supportive of Travis and Taylor’s relationship, which began more than a year ago.
